3D cell cultures bring a more realistic perspective on cell behavior into research and open up new possibilities for analysis. We warmly invite you to our seminar, where we will focus on the potential applications of 3D cell cultures and present different approaches to their practical use. The seminar will take place in Prague at the National Library of Technology on October 14 and in Brno at the Bohunice Campus on October 15.

Abstract

3D cell cultures, including spheroids and organoids, are increasingly used in research as they provide models that more closely mimic physiological conditions. At the same time, their complexity introduces unique challenges for analysis. In this seminar, we will introduce the fundamentals of 3D cell culture and present Promega solutions for monitoring cell viability, cytotoxicity, autophagy, and metabolism, along with tools for expression and genomic analysis. We will also highlight our detection platforms that simplify data acquisition and interpretation.

In the last part of the seminar, we will show you how you can easily monitor your 3D culture killing and proliferation using time lapse microscopy and also detect electrical activity in 3D using the Maestro platforms from Axion Biosystems.
