We are pleased to invite you to our upcoming seminar, which will this time focus on RNA analysis across the entire experimental workflow.

The session will cover:

- Sample preparation techniques
- Real-time PCR (qPCR) basics and various setup options (probe-based vs dye-based)
- Data processing, analysis, and common troubleshooting strategies

In the second part of the seminar, we will explore:

- The fundamentals of RNA interference (RNAi)
- Targeted gene silencing using specific siRNA pools
- Methods of rRNA depletion for RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) experiments

Finally, we will introduce innovative and practical solutions for long-term RNA sample storage to help you preserve your valuable material.

Join us to gain insights, ask questions, and enhance your RNA-based research!

Schedule

10:00-11:00 RNA analysis from isolation to qPCR troubleshooting (Kerem Yildirim)
11:00-11:20 Coffee Break
11:20-11:50 Studying gene function using complex siRNA pools (Vojtěch Ledvina)

Who is the seminar for?

The seminar is open to all interested participants, regardless of their background or age, and is also suitable for university students. However, due to capacity and organizational reasons, registration is required for participation. The entire seminar will be conducted in English.
