Thyroid Peroxidase(TPO) Monoclonal Antibody

Thyroid peroxidase (TPO) is located on the top free surface of thyroid epithelial cells, which is directly involved in the oxidation of iodine, the iodization of tyrosine and the coupling of tyrosine iodide. It is a key enzyme in the synthesis of thyroid hormone. It is highly expressed in normal, proliferative and most benign thyroid tissues, and significantly reduced in thyroid malignant tumors. Therefore, the antibody can be used in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid tumors.
